REHOBOTH BEACH, Del. — Humane Animal Partners, a animal welfare organization in Delaware, will officially launch its new Mobile Veterinary Clinic with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday, June 12 at 10 a.m. at its Rehoboth Beach location.
It celebrates the debut of the mobile unit, which is designed to improve access to affordable pet healthcare services across Sussex County and beyond. Money for the unit became available through a capital grant from the State of Delaware’s Community Reinvestment Fund. The mobile clinic will offer low-cost vaccinations, wellness exams, and spay/neuter surgeries both on-site and in partnership with local nonprofits.
“We’re thrilled at the potential impact of this new initiative, particularly for Sussex families,” said Leigh McKinley, Director of HAP Rehoboth. “This mobile veterinary unit really elevates our ability to serve the local community and play our part in keeping pets healthy and connected to their families.”
