DOVER, Del. - The Bayhealth Foundation and the Biggs Museum of American Art hosted a joint reception at the Biggs Museum in Dover on June 11. The evening brought together donors and supporters from both organizations.

Featured speaker, Chief Wellness Officer Thomas Vaughan, gave a presentation on the benefits of art therapy in healthcare environments.

“Clinicians and caregivers give so much of themselves every day. Art offers a powerful outlet to reduce stress, restore energy, and prevent burnout,” said Dr. Vaughan. “This partnership between Bayhealth and the Biggs Museum is a testament to the power of community and creativity coming together to heal.”

Bayhealth Foundation President, Lindsay Rhodenbaugh, said this will be more than a one time event.

Guests were able to explore the art exhibits and learn about upcoming joint initiatives, like the Art and Wellbeing collaboration that will highlight both Bayhealth team members and local students.
