FRANKFORD, DE-- Lower Sussex Little League Softball (Delaware) came away with a 7-0 victory overĀ Latin America (CuraƧao) in the Senior Little League Softball World Series.

Delaware was led by the phenomenal pitching performance of starter Kinsley Hall, who kept theĀ CuraƧao bats off balance en route to a complete game shutout, while striking out 14 and allowing only three hits in the effort.

Offensively, Hall was also one of the primary contributors, going 2-3 with two RBIs at the plate. Catcher Lily Hoban was another powerful Delaware bat, going 2-4 and driving in another two runs of her own on the night.Ā 

This win moves Delaware to 2-1 in the tournament in pool play action. They'll look to improve to 3-1 tomorrow against Asia-Pacific (The Philippines) tomorrow at 3 p.m. For Latin America, this loss drops their tournament record to 0-2, as they'll look to snatch their first win against the East region (Camden-Wyoming, DE) on Thursday at 4 p.m.
